How the lab works

  1. 1

    The Partnership

Centred around the Kopli 93 Community Centre, the city brings together municipal authorities, Tallinn University of Technology, specialised NGOs, senior housing communities and local schools.

  2. 2

    Community Empowerment

Local residents work hand-in-hand with university architecture students in hands-on workshops to co-design and co-decide the future spatial layout and community scenarios for the Kopli 93 premises.

  3. 3

    The Initiative

An indoor hub offering free and paid craft workshops, community events, creative start-up space rentals and a comprehensive skilling programme in circular design and waste reduction.

Key goal

Foster a thriving ecosystem of social and circular micro-enterprises, empower young creative entrepreneurs and inspire citizens to actively reuse materials.
