How the lab works

  1. 1

    The Partnership

Hosted by the Ayuntamiento de Valladolid (IdeVa), this pilot integrates city departments, academic institutions, environmental asset managers, clean-energy practitioners and local citizens.

  2. 2

    Community Empowerment

An active NEBourhood Assembly is established to assess pilot outcomes, make joint decisions and plan new local initiatives. Residents receive tailored training in social entrepreneurship and cooperative management.

  3. 3

    The Initiative

A comprehensive “Positive and Clean Energy District” plan that structures citizen-driven, community-scale renewable energy and water-sharing models.

Key goal

Create an energy and water community cooperative that guarantees affordable, equitable access to clean energy, specifically targeting vulnerable households, while renaturing public spaces.
