How the lab works

  1. 1

    The Partnership

Led by the Cluj-Napoca Municipality in coordination with the Cluj Metropolitan Area association, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, local SMEs, schools, NGOs and residents.

  2. 2

    Community Empowerment

Residents of all ages, from students to seniors, actively co-create and co-design neighbourhood and public space improvements through workshops and participatory budgeting.

  3. 3

    The Initiative

The Community Mobility Hub acts as a central point for shared e-mobility, repair and reuse services. It directly addresses employment barriers by hiring students and unemployed local adults to manage its day-to-day operations.

Key goal

Create jobs, improve clean transport access, strengthen intergenerational solidarity and build a replicable model of co-owned local mobility.
